- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Lots of wooded trails, a few streams, a few fields, and a small lake. This is a good place for a nearly solitary walk in the woods. We ran into a few people walking, on horseback, and mountain biking. Often it was just the two of us. The trails can get confusing, so I recommend a trail app, such as All Trails. Today's hike wad just over 8km, but we could have gone 2km or 15km. As most of the trails were through the woods and with little variety, this is not the most interesting place to hike. Entrance to this trail is on the northern end of McKowan. We found it only because of people parked on the side of the road.By Michele Marques, March 02, 2017
